What's on this weekend in Glasgow

What's on this weekend in Glasgow
Lots to do for kids and families this weekend - and many of them for free - but in no particular order here are some top picks:

On Saturday, book a place at Wee Egyptologists at GMRC (have you seen our blog?) or for older children, Bring an Adult (and an old toy) to School day at Scotland Street. Everything is awesome again at another Lego Swap Shop at Waterstones in IntuBraehead.
On Sunday, Gibson Street Gala celebrates its 10th year. Lots of stuff going on. Check out Habibi Kitchen for some fresh, tasty Middle Eastern food. Younger children and the four-legged, tail-wagging members of your family will love a day out at Katie Morag's Highland Games and West End Dog Show at the Children's Wood. Or get out of town and visit Finlaystone for their very popular Teddy Bears Picnic and Dolls' Tea Party.

On the Southside, it is time to go Wild in the Woods in Pollok Country Park - booking essential and in Scotstoun, an afternoon of Family Fun with Attitude at Dance with Attitude.

This weekend also marks the start of the West End Festival and the start of June - a busy month for parents with school fairs and end-of-term shows and sharings as the school year draws to a close. In fact its only 4 weeks until the term ends!

It is also a big sporting weekend with Glasgow Warriors playing Leinster in Dublin in the final of the RaboDirect Pro12. Good luck! #whateverittakes
